LUNA'S LOVES

For me, having a birthday is like waking up on any given Wednesday or something. I wake up feeling the exact same. Twenty-four was fun and honestly for the most part I kept forgetting my age and was telling people I was 23. Whole years are passing by me that I am forgetting. Whoops. Wasn't I just 20 and deciding on whether or not I wanted to move to Colorado?
As it turns out, to be successful in 2017, I should have started months ago. At least I am starting now, right?  I usually like to spend the end of the year reflecting on the old one and setting goals for what is ahead. I won't bore you with a list, but I would rather try to inspire you to seek out a word. Just one word for your new year. A word that will resonate with you throughout the year to embody that word.
My word? Grace. Grace upon grace upon grace.
I want to have grace with others faults. Grace with my daughter and husband. Grace with those I don't know. Grace for the day, the week, or the month. I want to extend grace to myself, even. I choose for twenty-five to be great and a year full of grace. Here's to you 25. Cheers.

As you all know, Andrew has been working hard over his food blog at Bachelor Cooking. You know, since I met him I have been telling him to start a food blog. So, yes, I am taking credit for his new hobby.
Anyway, I got this great idea to create a light box so that his pictures look more clean. My mom shipped in some stuff from Dallas, so I had three big boxes laying in the office.
  • Cut out three sides leaving only a frame
  • Find a thin, airy paper that light can come through and is almost translucent
  • Cut paper accordingly and  tape to your sides
  • You're finished!
That's it. it was super easy! I tested it out with some flowers that i head and it works great. The natural light with the white paper brightens up whatever I am taking a picture of- I love being crafty.

Living off of Ramen Noodles and Taco Bell helps for a season, but 15lbs later, a man realizes that he needs to learn how to cook. Until now, he has always relied on his mother to make his food.
Andrew loves to cook, but when he first lived on his own he had to learn how to cook for one. Over the years he has created a few recipes that all guys love. He decided to create a blog for all of those guys (and girls) who are in the bachelor or bachelorette season of their life. You can check it out HERE.

It's around that time of year again! I'm so excited! Here are few of my favorite things that will make great gifts. I am such a gift person. It is probably because I love to shop and it doesn't really matter who it is for. It is also because it is how  I show my appreciation to other people. My parents are both giving people and that may be where I got it from. Who knows...

I just recently got an iPhone 4s (finally), but now all I need is a case. Last phone I had was basically a brick and indestructable. I dropped it all the time and  was very careless with it-only becuse I knew it would never break. I need  case for this one, but not an otterbox, something actually cute. I think the first two are my favs...HELP!
