I'm just going to get right into it and introduce you to my latest obsession.
Bahn Mi.
It is a delicious Vietnamese dish that is served on a french baguette, with sweet pickled cucumber, daikon, and carrot, but spicy because of the siracha mayo and jalepeno. Trying new foods is like a hobby for us. So when I kept seeing Bahn Mi in different food shows that I like, I thought, "Hm, I bet we would like that."
Sure enough, we haven't stopped eating it.
We decided to go to a legit Vietnamese place to make sure we were getting our flavors right before we attempted to make the dish. Then after we made it, I think ours is WAY better. it does require some chopping which is not my favorite, especially when the veggies are needing to be specifically chopped a certain way (insert eye roll emoji).
